Chinese language offshore operator CNOOC Ltd has made a serious oil and gasoline discovery in Bohai Bay offshore northern China, with hydrocarbon reserves of as much as 130 million tonnes.
Situated within the south of the Bohai Sea in common water depths of twenty-two metres, the Bozhong 26-6 discovery options gentle crude in an Archean buried hill reservoir.
The BZ26-6-2 discovery properly was drilled to a depth of 4480 metres, and encountered a complete of 321.3 metres of oil pay zones.
