INPEX Mirai Upstream Pty Ltd has signed a deal to purchase PetroChina Worldwide Funding (Australia) Pty Ltd’s 10.67 p.c stake within the Browse Basin three way partnership (JV).

The transaction between the INPEX Corp (INPEX) and China Nationwide Petroleum Corp subsidiaries would make Japan’s INPEX a minority proprietor within the Brecknock, Calliance and Torosa gasoline fields offshore Western Australia.
