Brazil’s Petrobras has acquired a single business supply in a young for the availability of subsea intervention companies and decommissioning of previous pipes that used to serve a trio of manufacturing platforms within the Campos basin.
Petrobras in 2020 offered the P-7, P-12 and P-15 semi-submersible manufacturing platforms to Finest Oasis, the cash-buying arm of ship-breaking large Priya Blue Industries, for a complete sum of about $1.4 million.
The three items have been decommissioned a couple of years earlier from mature shallow-water fields within the Campos basin and transported for recycling in India after being purchased by Finest Oasis.
