Seatrium Ltd.’s U.S. unit, Seatrium Letourneau USA Inc. (SLET), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cochin Shipyard (CSL) to collaborate on the design and provide of vital tools for jack-up rigs for the Indian market.

Seatrium mentioned in a media launch that the companions goal to capitalize on the alternatives for Cell Offshore Drilling Items (MODUs). The pair will leverage CSL’s ship building expertise and engineering and SLET’s technical experience and design capabilities to design MODUs particularly to fulfill the calls for of the Indian market.

For Seatrium, this collaboration with CSL represents a milestone because it appears to advance options for India’s offshore vitality business.
