Santos Ltd has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Narrabri Shire Council for provide from the Narrabri Fuel Undertaking.

“The MOU outlines Santos’ dedication to provide pure gasoline to companies working throughout the Northern NSW Inland Port, on the western outskirts of Narrabri, from mission graduation”, the Australian firm stated in a press launch.

“Underneath the proposed settlement, Santos would provide the Narrabri Shire Council with as much as 3.2 PJ per 12 months of competitively-priced pure gasoline for as much as 10 years, topic to capability of the Wilga Park Energy Station lateral pipeline and Santos’ closing funding resolution for the mission”.

Santos has stated 100% of manufacturing from Narrabri would move to the home market. It expects the mission to provide as much as half of New South Wales’ gasoline wants. The corporate plans to regularly develop 850 wells.

Narrabri appraisal wells already provide the Wilga Park energy station, which generates energy for the northwest New South Wales grid, in accordance with Santos.

Santos managing director and chief government Kevin Gallagher stated, “We all know from our expertise in creating Queensland coal seam gasoline that Narrabri gasoline will likely be a really aggressive supply of home gasoline provide for the east coast market that’s additional advantaged by proximity to clients in NSW”.

Santos has but to make a FID (closing funding resolution) on the Narrabri mission.
