Pacific Worldwide Traces Pte. Ltd. (PIL) has named two of its liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) fueled 14,000 TEU container vessels on the Jiangnan Shipyard in China. “These have been the primary dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered by an Asian container delivery line in 2022. Along with one other 11 new dual-fuel ships we now have on order, they mark the beginning of our program to resume and modernize our fleet. They are going to complement the prevailing vessels in our fleet and enhance our connectivity world wide to higher service prospects”, Lars Kastrup, PIL CEO, added.

The just lately launched 14,000 TEU vessel measures 1,100 ft lengthy and 167 ft broad. It’s geared up with GTT’s Mark III LNG containment system. Its excessive container consumption capability and energy-saving options, together with superior hull coatings, optimized hull design, and variable frequency drive motors, contribute to its general effectivity and environmental sustainability, the corporate stated.

PIL has 11 further LNG dual-fuel container ships on order, which encompass two vessels with a capability of 14,000 TEU, 4 vessels with a capability of 8,000 TEU, and 5 vessels with a capability of 13,000 TEU. These ships can be delivered steadily over the following few years, the corporate stated.
