Petroliam Nasional Bhd stated Wednesday it had signed a deal to provide China Nationwide Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) a million tonnes each year of liquefied pure fuel.

Malaysia’s state-owned Petronas didn’t specify the period of the “long-term dedication” to CNOOC Fuel and Energy Singapore Buying and selling and Advertising and marketing Pte Ltd.

The settlement strengthens “cooperation in LNG provide whereas supporting China’s financial progress and nationwide clear power agenda, together with the ‘Twin Carbon’ aspirations of peaking emissions earlier than 2030 and reaching carbon neutrality by 2060”, Petronas stated in an announcement on its web site.
