Brazilian oil big Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) is venturing into renewable hydrogen.

Petrobras mentioned in a information launch that it plans to construct its first pilot plant for producing renewable hydrogen on the Vale do Açu Thermoelectric Plant, in Alto do Rodrigues, Rio Grande do Norte. The mission has a complete finances of $16 million (BRL 90 million).
