Pakistan’s Oil and Gasoline Growth Firm Restricted (OGDCL) has continued to make discoveries on the Spinwam-1 properly within the Waziristan block in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The corporate stated in a submitting with the Pakistan Inventory Trade that it had made its third fuel and condensate discovery within the properly within the Hangu formation.
The properly has flowed 23.85 million normal cubic toes per day (mmscfd) of fuel and roughly 122 barrels per day (bpd) of condensate at a 32/64“ choke, with a properly head flowing strain (WHFP) of 4,042 kilos per sq. inch gauge (psig), the corporate stated within the regulatory submitting. Testing of extra formations is in progress, it added.
The corporate has made three discoveries on the Spinwam-1 properly within the Waziristan block within the final three months.

In February it reported a hydrocarbons discovery on the properly, which was spudded in Could 2024 and drilled to a depth of 4,400 meters (14435 toes). “Preliminary pre-acid testing of the Samanasuk formation has proven a movement of 12.96 mmscfd of fuel and approx. 20 bbl/day of condensate at 32/64” choke and a properly head flowing strain of two,127 psig”, the corporate stated.
In mid-March, OGDCL stated it made a second fuel and condensate discovery on the properly within the Kawagarh formation. The properly examined at 20.28 mmscfd of fuel and approx. 117 bbl7day of condensate at 32/64” choke and WHFP of three,431 psig.
OGDCL stated it holds a 35 % working curiosity within the Waziristan block, with Mari Energies Ltd. holding a 55 % curiosity as operator and Orient Petroleum Inc. holding a ten % share.
