GAIL Inks 10-12 months LNG Provide Take care of Vitol

State-owned GAIL (India) Restricted has signed a long-term liquefied pure fuel (LNG) gross sales and buy settlement with Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd. GAIL stated in a media launch that the deal for the availability of roughly 1 million tonnes each year of LNG for 10 years resulted from a binding Time period Sheet signed in January 2024.

Below the settlement, Vitol will ship the chilled fuel to GAIL from its international LNG portfolio beginning in 2026. 

“GAIL is increasing its long-term LNG portfolio to fulfill demand development. We’re happy to associate with Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd., and this settlement represents a key milestone in reinforcing GAIL’s functionality to reliably serve its various and evolving buyer base”, Sanjay Kumar, Advertising Director at GAIL, stated.

India emerged because the world’s fourth-largest LNG importer in 2024, with demand anticipated to rise steadily over the following decade, GAIL famous.
