EU Requires New Funding Proposals for Cross-Border Vitality Initiatives

The European Fee is accepting proposals for funding underneath a brand new spherical of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Vitality.

The brand new name “addresses funding proposals for research and development works”, the Fee stated in a web-based assertion. Builders have till September 16 to submit proposals. Outcomes will come out “early subsequent 12 months”.

For carbon dioxide infrastructure, three tasks would obtain development help and 9 extra would obtain help in securing financing – totaling EUR 250 million.

The Prinos storage facility in Greece, which is able to assist set up the primary carbon seize and storage worth chain within the southeast Mediterranean, has been allotted EUR 120 million. The opposite two tasks to obtain development help are in Denmark and the Netherlands.
