Trinidad and Tobago signed Wednesday two new manufacturing sharing contracts (PSCs) with EOG Assets Ltd., which is already producing within the Caribbean nation.

The licenses are a part of shallow water areas supplied in a 2023-24 bidding spherical within the twin islands, which opened October 2023 and closed Could 2024, based on a web based assertion by the Ministry of Vitality and Vitality Industries (MEEI).

NCMA hosts seven fuel fields to the north of Trinidad: Bougainvillea, Chaconia, Heliconia, Hibiscus, Ixora, Poinsettia and Poinsettia Southwest. The ministry stated negotiations had been held to enhance the phrases earlier than the PSCs have been signed.

Trinidad and Tobago contributed 1,200 barrels a day of crude oil and condensate and 225 million cubic ft per day of pure fuel to EOG’s manufacturing within the third quarter of 2024, based on the corporate’s newest outcomes.
