Eni S.p.A. has signed a Heads of Phrases (HoT) with hyperscale digital infrastructure specialist Khazna Information Facilities. The HoT lays the groundwork for a three way partnership aimed toward creating an AI Information Heart Campus with a complete IT capability of 500 megawatts in Ferrera Erbognone, Lombardy, Eni mentioned in a media launch.

Along with Eni, we’re enabling the infrastructure wanted for exponential AI development – delivering the size, sustainability, and operational precision that next-generation compute calls for”, Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna Information Facilities, mentioned.
The mission, whose growth actions are already underway, is a part of the strategic partnership between Italy and the United Arab Emirates launched in February 2025, aimed toward putting in an total IT capability of as much as 1 gigawatt in Italy, Eni added.
