State-owned Egyptian Pure Gasoline Holding Co. (EGAS) has contracted a second floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) from New Fortress Vitality Inc. (NFE).

FSRU Energos Winter, which has a capability of 138,250 cubic meters (4.88 million cubic toes), will function at EGAS’ liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) import terminal in Damietta for 5 years, New York Metropolis-based power infrastructure firm NFE mentioned in a press launch.

Energos Winter will be a part of Energos Eskimo in Egypt as early as August, NFE mentioned.
