QatarEnergy mentioned Thursday it had held naming ceremonies to inaugurate 4 of the handfuls of conventional-size liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) vessels it had ordered from South Korean builders.

Three of the newly inaugurated ships, named “Lebrethah”, “Nuaijah” and “Umm Swayyah”, mark the primary deliveries by Hanwha Ocean Co. Ltd. below QatarEnergy’s LNG fleet growth program, state-owned QatarEnergy mentioned in an announcement.

On Might 8 QatarEnergy signed a “long-term” constitution settlement with Qatar Gasoline Transport Co. Ltd. (Nakilat) assigning Nakilat possession and operatorship of 9 of the QC Max-size ships. QatarEnergy earlier chosen Nakilat for the possession and operatorship of 25 conventional-size LNG ships, as introduced February 10. QatarEnergy has not disclosed the period of those agreements.
